Can a Florida court order drug testing of the parents when determining custody/time sharing?

A Florida court does have the ability to order drug testing and alcohol testing for a parent. One of the factors that the court does look at in determining what's in the best interest of the child is whether or not there's a substance abuse issue for either parent. Drug testing and alcohol testing can be ordered either before timeshare happens or while timeshare is occurring to ensure that the child is safe and the parents are clean and sober while they have timeshare.
